An era came to an end after 35 years with the winter season 2019 – the Fleckalmbahn was demolished and we are now looking to the future and a new cable car.

We made the most of this opportunity, and also the simultaneous refurbishment of our hotel to become ‘Sportalm2.0’, and are now proud owners of a Fleckalmbahn gondola, which has found its way on to our rooftop terrace – as we so beautifully put it: ‘Those who shape the future, have to understand the past’
